The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed regarding the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is SRD often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated sassa status to service the area regularly. The provider position produced for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to allow the servicing of all customers and enhance access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
